very popular in this period).
Part of an Estate that I just
purchased, and listed well below market prices,
exceptional vintage quality at a very reasonable price.

Four Major
Diamonds= 2.78 ct.
2.90 ct. T.W. for
all gemstones
"ONE OF A
KIND"
A extremely rare find, this is
one absolutely beautiful "Flower Pot Brooch",
not just for its design, but that it also contains four
major diamonds. My first thought was to "break
this item up" and make four engagement rings from
the diamonds, but that would almost be sinful to alter
this beautiful masterpiece. It was custom handmade by
Lambert Bros. of New York City, using old family
diamonds dating back to the 1890's, as told to me by its
former owner, and is numbered #H53558. Its constructed
from 14-K yellow gold. Please click on the picture for
an exact listing of all the diamonds. Most are in the
VVS-1 grade.
The Fair Market Value is at
$19,456.00, it would retail in excess of $22,500.00
to reproduce such an item in today's market. We actually
have this listed at 20% over and above actual
manufacturing cost of today's market.
"An
exceptional price"
Why almost 1/2 price, you might
ask? The basic answer is "I was able to obtain
this at an excellent price", likewise the new owner
will make an exceptional purchase at the price listed
here. Thus it is a "win/win" situation for all
involved in this transaction. And one of the major
reasons why our clients return year after year, always
looking for exceptional items at exceptional
prices.
FMV $19,456.
Our Price $11,675.

Diamond
Platinum, this "Late Transitional-

3.0 grams. The center diamond is a 1.01 ct. VVS-2, and
the twelve side diamonds (Two Marquise's and ten round Single

# Est-119 Circa 1960's
Estate
What a looker, part of a large
estate that I purchased, all 1860's - 1960's vintage
jewelry. For the first 10 seconds I thought "What
a sweet diamond cluster ring", (Typically I can spot
a good reproduction in 3 to 5 seconds), but something
was wrong? So under the microscope it went, and with a
few gemological tests, I knew they were not diamonds in
less than ten seconds. But I have to admit, it
looked like $1800. great single diamond cluster ring,
at the first glance.
This is typical 1960's vintage, 10-K
White Gold, with diamond substitutes that precedes the
CZ's of the 1970's. Well crafted, in excellent
condition, with the "look" of a $1800. diamond
ring, but at a fraction of the price.

[Gutta-Percha]
This "Match Safe" is a
rare and unusual collectors item, designed as a
safe way for a man to carry his matches. Created upon
the death of Queen Victoria, as a memorial tribute to
the Queen Mother. Both the top and bottom covers flip
open for access to ones matches. It appears that some
one in the past added a "ring' to one of the covers, so
as attach a chain to this "Match Safe"?. On the
right side is a "striking pad", used to strike and
light the match. It is 1-1/2" wide x 2.00" long x 1/2"
thick (38.77 x 51.11 x 13.86 m/m). Even though this is
not actually "Mourning Jewelry", it does fall in the
"Mourning Category" as a tribute to a loved or revered
one, upon their death. Though some "Match Safes" still exist,
finding one to the "Queen Mom" in memorial to Queen
Victoria, is extremely rare. And the only one
