Chrome Tourmaline

Rarely seen by most, but one of natures most beautiful gemstones, this pear shape Chrome Tourmaline gives the visual appearance of a $5000. emerald, at only a fraction of the cost.  Uniquely different, it has always been one of my personal favorites of all gemstones.

The pear shape Chrome Tourmaline is 7-1/2 x 5-1/2 m/m, and it is bezel set for maximum security. The mounting is a heavy ring, with a ribbed "V" design on one side and a domed surface on the other side. It is a ring size 6-1/2, and has a gross weight of 2.0 grams.

Ancient folklore believed that Chalcedony was commonly thought to give physical strength, endurance and beauty to the wearer, as well as having a calming effect on its owner. It is also thought to provide protection during political upset and while traveling. Other positive qualities including protecting the wearer from dangers and promoting strength, healing, emotional balance, vitality, endurance, kindness, and friendliness. Chalcedony has been used as a sacred stone by Native Americans to promote stability within the tribe.

Chalcedony

This "peaceful color" gemstone has a calming effect when first viewing this unusual gemstone. Though it has been known to jewelers for centuries, only recently has the public been demanding  more of this beautiful "light color - bluish/purple" gemstone.  

The large 10 x 8 m/m oval cabochon Chalcedony, is set side way's to go across the finger. Going down each side of the ring are 12 diamonds to accent  the  ring as well as the center stone. The ring is 7.69 m/m wide and tapers to 2.38 m/m. Size 7-1/4, with a gross weight of 4.9 grams.

Star Ruby

Finding a "Natural Star Ruby" at such a reasonable price, is not an easy task. This 10.86 ct. Natural round Star Ruby, is securely set by two 1/2 bezels, thus allowing this exceptional stone to become the major focal point. The width of the bezel and stone across the finger is 12.08 m/m, the shank tapers from 7.26 to 2.72 m/m wide. Its gross weight (Gold & Ruby) is 8.5 grams.

A captivating combination of a large stone in a feminine bold design. As with most Star Rubies, the "Star" will not be extremely prominent as it is with a "Synthetic Star Ruby", since most people are only used to seeing the synthetic stones. Ancient folklore believed that Sapphires would protect against sorcery. It was thought to banish evil spirits and frighten devils. It would turn evil sorcery and negative spells back against the sender, provide advance warning of hidden dangers, and free the mind of the enchanted. Sapphire was important to wizards and seers who used it to help interpret vision and prophesy. Also known as the "Royal Stone", the gemstone of Kings and Queens. It is also September's birthstone.

Ceylon Sapphire

What fanatic color was my first thought as I viewed four of these exceptional sapphires, I knew each one would have to be used in a very special item.

This Platinum Ring that I created can be used as an "Engagement Ring" or as a "Right Hand Ring", because it is basic "Classic 3 Stone Ring". The center Ceylon Sapphire is 1.20 ct, the two diamonds on the side weigh .80 ct. T.W., SI-2 grade, H color, equaling 2.00 ct total gemstone weight. The shank is 1/2 round and 3.57 m/m wide. This is a heavy quality ring with a total gross weight of 9.4 grams, size 6.

Treasured by the Czars this rare gemstone has always been one of my personal favorites of all gemstones. This 5.01 x 3.17 oval faceted Tsavorite is set in 14-K white gold in a 4 prong setting, on each side of the stone is a "bow design" with one .01 ct. diamond to accent the Tsavorite gemstone.

Most people mistake Tsavorites (it is pronounced as "Sav-o-rite") as "high quality emeralds", since they are rarely seen by the public. Its color is a "vivid brilliant emerald green color", as well as it being an extremely durable gemstone that will give you decades of wear. The ring is a size 7, with a gross weight of 1.6 grams.

Until the 18th century, soldiers often wore Rubellite gemstones to heal battle wounds. Rubellite's were also believed to promote true love, and are said to lift spirits and warm the heart.
