Exceptional [Click picture for more views] Though not very "profitable" for all the labor it took to hand fabricate, but it was a "true labor of love" to create this "One Of A Kind" creation.	#8107 18-K Y.G. 18-K Pocket Knife "One Of A Kind" Finding a quality 18-K Pocket Knife, is nearly impossible, so my challenge was create, this "One Of A Kind" pocket knife. As I held this quality "Kershaw" Knife in my hands, I knew that "hand forging" the two handle covers would be quite challenging and time consuming, but in the end, I would create the "*Ultimate Pocket Knife" for those collectors of fine knives, or any one choosing the "Ultimate Gift". Starting with two sheets* of flat 18-K yellow gold, I carefully hand forged (with thousands and thousands of hammer blows) the gold, slowly curving and shaping the gold to match the overall shape and curvature of the knife handle. Then the gold was annealed and process was repeated fifteen more times. Over a period of a few days, the two gold handles became a perfect mate and match to the handle of the knife. Later each and every "hammer blow" was "hand burnished" to remove those "hammer blows" that created its actual shape. Then it was given its final high polish, to finalize the creation of this "One Of A Kind" 18-K Gold Pocket Knife". The pocket knife is 4-3/4" long when open and 2-3/4" long when closed. The gross weight (gold & knife) is 47.0 grams. There is actually enough gold in this knife to create 10 to 12 ladies rings. I created this "One Of A Kind" fly fishing pole brooch with the lady in mind. On the lower left area I used a bezel to act as the reel and set an exceptional .78 ct. near Kashmir Blue color Sapphire. At the tip of the pole, I created the "fish" by using a .51 ct. Marquise Shape Diamond and a .10 ct. Trillion Shape Diamond as the tail. The pole is 71.00 m/m long (2-3/4") from the butt to the tip of the pole. As you wear the brooch, the fish "swivels" and "moves" with every movement of your body. When I purchased it, I instantly knew that I wanted to create a distinctively different pendant for this pearl, that seems to be "dripping" like early formation a stalagmite. Likewise its top ornamentation created in 14-K gold had to be as different as this unique pearl that it would cradle and hold. The tubular upper bale that I created, allows the 18" Baby Wheat chain to flow smoothly through it, while it gently flows into the pearl cap that securely cradles the pearl. The "Milky Way" *"Limited Production"* One Vermont evening while viewing stars and the Milky Way through my telescope, I was inspired to design and create this necklace, that represents the same stars that we all view each night. The pendant is 1-1/8" long (28.95 m/m) x 11/32" (18.20 m/m) wide x 3/16'thick (4.07 m/m). It is 14-K Yellow Gold and contains 9 diamonds equaling .40 ct. SI, G-H. Its chain is a 20" heavy Wheat Chain (chosen for its strength) that is 1.32 m/m thick. The total gross weight is 10.2 grams. My intention was to utilizing the same primitive goldsmiths methods as other creations were made millenniums ago. After a bit of research, I discovered that Ancient Sumerian Pictographs was the oldest writing on this earth. While researching these ancient pictographs, I was able to discover a decorative symbols and writing that would reflect the mysteries of "Mankind, Earth & God" as it would have influenced a Sumerian Goldsmith so long ago. This ring is "hand- fabricated and forged" in heavy 18-K yellow gold, the black fossil is a 570 million year old Trilobite. Around the bezel, I hand engraved (in the same primitive method) a decorative pattern that is actually a "message and statement" reflecting mankind's association with earth, god and the eternity, as per their understanding in this time period. In this case through our special process, I took the actual Pine Cone, and incased it. Then with our special "Thermal Carbonization" process, I vaporized the actual pine cone, leaving a empty cavity left by the original pine cone. At that point I was able to pour melted gold into the empty cavity. Thus creating *"Pine Cone"* that is exactly as the *original, except now it is in gold. Though this unique "Thermal Carbonization Process"* is a labor intensive and it takes over 15 hours to execute, it does reproduce the natural item exactly as nature had created it.
