Fine Akoya Pearls

This classic double strand
choker Diamond Pearl Necklace (Circa 1960's),
is an example of elegance and style.
This choker is 12-3/4" long, with
quality AAA grade Japanese Akoya Pearls, that range from
9.22 to
6.31 m/m in diameter. As viewed in the picture, the
"smaller pearls" are next to the clasp, with the clasp
in the front. The choker can be reversed so the the
larger pearls are in the front,
with the clasp in the back.
On the clasp is one .50 ct.
marquise shape diamond, SI grade and ten 2.50 m/m
pearls. This clasp is 14-k white gold.
These pearls white in color,
with a slight cream hew, with a very clean surface, very

This exceptional Blueberry Color
Pearl Necklace and Earring Set is a color rarely
seen.
This necklace is knotted on
pure silk, with a length of 17" long and with a white gold
clasp. These large dyed Blueberry Pearls are 8.5 m/m in
size, well matched for color, with smooth surfaces and
an excellent light reflection.
I handcrafted these earrings
in 14-K white gold, with 8 m/m matching Blueberry
Pearls. Each drop is 1-1/4" long (not counting the
earwires) with an overall length of 1-3/4" long.
The earrings are $69.00, while the
strand of pearls are $395.00. Sorry they are not sold
separately. If I were to sell the earrings first,
then the owner of the strand of pearls would never have
earrings with an "exact" color match, thus they are sold
only as a full set as shown.

Mikimoto Akoya Pearls
The name alone says it all,
"Mikimoto Pearls" are like saying "Tiffany or
Cartier" when referring to high quality cultured
pearls. This estate strand of Cultured Pearls, circa
1950's, is still in its original box with its
original sterling clasp. My daughter Michele
re-strung these pearls (knotted) on pure silk. These
Akoya Pearls are "white in color" with a slight
"cream hue". Well matched for color and size, with
very clean surface. And their "light reflection" is
good. The pearls range from 6.00 to 5.67 m/m and are
round in shape.

This stunning double row

These are Akoya Pearls
(Japanese Salt-Water), and range from 6.60 to
6.85 m/m (with the average size at 6.75 m/m in diameter.
The clasp is 14-K Yellow Gold, and it is a
"push-in-tong" style with an additional "Figure-8"
safety clasp. Between the two rows of pearls are two
"spacer-bars", that keep the two rows together when
worn.
The pearls are white in color, with a
slight "pink-hew" (this is the most desirable of all
colors). The surface is very clean, with very few
surface inclusions, with an excellent luster. And the
pearls are "well-matched" for size and color. Its length
is 7-3/8" long, and it is knotted and strung on pure
silk.

"One Of A Kind"
This "Dripping Pearl", is an
example of a exceptional "One Of A Kind" pearl that
nature created. When I purchased it, I instantly knew
that I wanted to create a distinctively different
pendant for this pearl, that seems to be "dripping" like
early formation a stalagmite. Likewise its top
ornamentation created in 14-K gold had to be as
different as this unique pearl that it would cradle and
hold.
The tubular upper bale that I
created, allows the 18" Baby Wheat chain to flow
smoothly through it, while it gently flows into the
pearl cap that securely cradles the pearl. The pendant
(Gold top & Pearl) is 1-1/4" long and 5/8' wide, a true
beauty that will stand the test of time, at a very
