Rarely seen, Green Diamonds are among the rarest of all diamonds (Only a Red Diamond is rarer).

This Platinum engagement ring is outstanding by its self, but having a Green Diamond, makes it even more exceptional and unique. The heavy platinum ring contains six Princess Cut Diamonds that equal .25 ct. T.W., SI grade, G-H color. The ring is engraved with a classic pattern. In the center is a six prong platinum head, that securely holds this high grade .31 ct.  VS-1 grade, Natural-treated Green Diamond. Thus the total equals .56 ct. total weight of fine diamonds.

This ring is a size 6-1/4, with a gross weight of 6.5 grams.

My heart almost skipped a beat, as my stone buyer handed me a package of sapphires that he just purchased on a buying trip from Asia. What fantastic color, was my first thought. Since I only had a few of these exceptional sapphires, and I knew each one would have to be used in a very special item.

This Platinum Ring that I created can be used as an "Engagement Ring" or as a "Right Hand Ring", because it is basic "Classic 3 Stone Ring". The center Ceylon Sapphire is 1.20 ct, the two diamonds on the side are .80 ct. T.W., SI-2 grade, H color, equaling 2.00 ct total gemstone weight. The shank is 1/2 round and 3.57 m/m wide. This is a heavy quality ring with a total gross weight of 9.4 grams, size 6.
